Finnish artist couple, video and performance pioneers in their homeland. Since the end of the 1980s Lea and Pekka Kantonen have been realising their original creative idea which blurs the boundaries between their art and familylife. Tent is a perennial process art work exploring the definition of home in various cultures: of the Lapps, the Raramuris – indigenous people living in northern Mexico, and the Setos, living in Estonia. Four Corners is a reflection on the functions of the particular parts of the house, undertaken by the artists during workshops with children from Finland and Estonia.
